First Musings

Hello all!

For those of you reading this on Facebook, I should update everyone on my life.

I turned 22 last Friday! :). It was a great day! I spent the day with great people and got some awesome gifts! My girlfriend Regenia knitted me a Fibonacci patterned scarf. It looks really great! It's green and blue. I'll hopefully have pictures up soon.

Speaking of girlfriend, I should tell everyone that I am now in a relationship. This past Sunday (23rd) was one official month for us. We knew each other for a good decent amount of time before becoming official.

Regenia and I have went on some great dates so far. We went to Body Worlds in Charlotte on the 22nd. We spent all day at Discovery Place and had an awesome time and we didn't even get to do everything there!

We also have some great upcoming dates :). We're going to SAFF in Fletcher, NC on October 27th and a trip to the symphony on October 28th. Somewhere before then I think we're going to go to go Pigeon Forge and Cades Cove for a fall color trip. There will be plenty of talk about Regenia in future posts, I'm sure.

I'm currently also going to graduate school part time. I'm only taking one class this semester, and it's actually kinda difficult. I'm hoping to make it through with my Master's sometime this decade or next ;).

My job is getting better and better. I'm getting real responsibility, knowledge, and credibility at work now. They are giving me more varied projects, which I really like. I'm hoping they decide to keep me around long term.

I'm also living off campus now. I live with Kevin, Gabe, and Craig in Rose Park Condominiums. They are the ones directly behind Backyard Burger on State of Franklin directly across from campus. This makes it a short-ish drive to work, and a really easy trek to class. It's nice having a full kitchen and living with the guys is really fun.

By now, you're probably getting bored with my update on life. I will hopefully update rather frequently.
